It's the Anti-Cheat
I can start the game's launcher, but thats as far as I can get, when I hit "Launch"? Omni-Sight shows up, but I get errors from ACE Center about "abnormal events" blah blah blah--- and then it closes... That's that.
Unsupported - ACE anticheat or something else not sure
Anticheat kicks you out before you can even see any menu. Only thing viable and fully accessible is the game's launcher
Installs but does not launch
Launcher for the game shows up, seems like it attemps to start after clicking play but stops due to anticheat, the game uses OmniSight anticheat. Tried on Proton Experimental, 9.0-4, 8.0-5, and 7.0-6, with 7 and 8 both causing the launcher to think the game wasn't launched with steam.
Anti-Cheat makes the game unplayable.
Game boots up, you can hit "Play" on the launcher, but the Anti-Cheat boots up, then closes and the game doesn't start up at all anymore.
Fate Trigger Broken
Tried Proton 9.0-4, Experimental, and Hotfix - not working, just crashes quietly post launch. I suspect it is broken anti-cheat techology or some prerequisite they expect that is not installed and bundeled properly.
No idea if its the anti cheat but I did find this discussion thread about the game not working with amd cards yet. I will run tests later..
hope it comes to linux but if it doesn't it doesn't. I will play something else
