The game would refuse to load on certain versions of Proton, citing an unsupported graphics mode. This is a native bug which also affects some 64-bit vesions of Windows.

This game is notoriously unstable on modern hardware. Support has dropped out of some of the recent Experimental builds, as well as the current default as set by my Deck on Steam, giving issues similar to what can be seen on some modern Windows installs.
