A huge bug occurs after 15 minutes of gaming: a cinematic causes a major crash, dropping the frame rate to 1--2 FPS constantly. You just have to wait until the sequence ends, save the game, close it, and reopen it, which fixes the issue. I was playing on High settings and had to switch to Medium to get through the sequence
