Played with Proton 8.0-2.
Need to set virtual screen (1024x768) via protontricks and edit registry file to set game resolution to 1024x768 and 32 bit color depth.
Adding report at 13 hours in, on another system. Still quite playable on Linux, with noted issues with swapping and music.
As in the previous report: music from startup screens missing. Believe also, on review, music in general is missing; I haven't heard anything but sound effects throughout, and recall that, playing it on Windows years ago, there was an in-game soundtrack.
Starting and swapping to and from the application, as in the previous report, the screen starts black. Any event (keypress or mouse) will start things, however. The game is playable.
Minor problems as noted in report; quite playable so far.
I recall there was a theme song playing over the initial loading screens, when I played this on Windows around the time of the original release. I don't hear it now.
On initial start, and after swapping to the game from other tasks, the screen is black until a key is pressed or the mouse is clicked.
