Not Linux friendly
Tinker Steps:Launcher: Lutris, Lutris
I couldn't find the elusive way forward on a desktop running Manjaro Linux, it's probably going to be restricted to Consoles and Windows, possibly forever. I could be wrong but my expensive mistake made me want to share the experience.
BTW-Arch, Gnome desktop, Lutris, Battle.net, purchase, poof, in that order.
It's not that I'm missing something obvious as I'm able to get into other "Windows" FPS games that way; I've read it's a problem of philosophy.
Steam Deck adjacent and hopefully helpful...

New MW, MW2, and BO6 all use the same "Call Of Duty" launcher in Steam, which has exclusively "borked" reports. Downloaded new BO6 with same result.
