Keeps asking for game key at every startup

Game works great - Proton 3.16-9 @ 1024x768x32
Game would not start at default desktop resolution, only at game resolutions of 1024x768 or 800x600.
Game speed slider does not seem to work. At least, I did not notice a difference, a problem I also had with 7 Kingdoms: Ancient Adversaries.

Much better works with disabling ESYNC. If you want play with native resolution, you must edit registry key (this problem in windows too):
- protontricks 254060 regedit;
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Reality Pump\KnightShift\BaseGame\Graphics\Setup and edit string "ShowAllRefreshRates" from 0 to 1;
- Check your resolution in game.
