Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo
Works out of the box :)
Save data is deleted when the game is uninstalled. No Steam Cloud support.

Devs updated the game and now everything works perfectly on the Steam Deck!
The dev update the music files of the game and now it works out of the box.
I had to delete my of compatdata file (I was using proton 3-16 for this game) to have my controller working. After that everything is perfect.
No music. Kinda mandatory for this game the music is too good.
No music
No background music
Tested with Proton 7.0-2, Experimental, and GE-Proton7-17. All played identically.
plays normally would be platinum is game didn't freeze when your controller disconnects
Game will freeze if controller disconnects
No music, just the sound effects and the sheer empty void of nothingness
All music is missing from the game, sound effects still work though
I tried various launch options reported from other games with similar issues of no music but had no luck. Technically you can play the whole game start to finish but the lack of music really hurts the ambiance. Just put on some music in the background I guess if you really want to.
Everything worked except music, which is unfortunate because the music is great.
No music

Game plays perfectly, sound works, steam controller works, music does not work. Couldn't find a fix.

My friend (on windows) suggested this game to me and it is finally working!
No problems loading in. I am playing with a wired PS4 controller.

Works out of the box, but music does not play. Sound effects still work.

You need to run twice "protontricks 250500 --force dotnet40", first to install it than to fix it. And then, the game works.

Via logs, wine mono is not installed. Using winetricks/protontricks to install dotnet40 seems to indicate the issue is that it requires a 32-bit prefix, which proton doesn't currently support.

“Wine Mono is not installed”
Doesn't start

Gives a Microsoft XNA error in Wine, and when XNA 4 is installed in Wine, it gets a stack overflow. A similar thing occurred with Proton
