The game launches without any tinkering steps by default. Since the game is a remake of the console ver, the controls are set and pretty much good to go. As mentioned by other reporters, the opening video might shutter a bit otherwise the game plays flawlessly without any issues.

Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton8-1

Tried proton experimental and the latest ge version but none of them can help to enter the game,
switched to ge 8-1 and it works smoothly. 目前游戏只用ge-proton 8-1运行，除此之外体验很流畅

The OP video has a really slight stutter at some points but it's not enough to bring about audio sync issues or ruin the experience. Overall, no issues - the game is designed to be played with a controller since it's the 2010 remake version for consoles.

Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: 8.0-3

I tested on the latest Proton Experimental, and GE-Proton8-9, and on both the game would crash immediately with an error. However, it seems to work flawlessly on 8.0-3.

So far, some Deck users have reported the movies to stutter a bit, but on my hardware that hasn't been an issue.
