WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3dcompiler_47=n;d3d9=n,b" MANGOHUD_CONFIG=gl_vsync=1,vsync=3,fps_limit=60,show_fps_limit mangohud %command%
After doing whatever the wiki said with the ini-files(https://lastremnant.fandom.com/wiki/PC_Tweaking) I installed reshade via this script(https://github.com/kevinlekiller/reshade-steam-proton), made two presets that I can easily change by pressing a button(one preset with only vibrance, a little vignette and fake hdr and one preset with bloom and a slightly stronger vignette, because the bloom effect causes some problems with the UI and the vignette effect can at least negate some of them). I also tried to run the last remnant planer(an external program which looks at your loaded save file and show you your hidden stats), tried steam tinker launch, made my own exe and did a lot of other things but couldn't get it working for some reason(I am probably just too dumb for that...) also tried the same with some other trainer but it would just refuse to run both the game and the external program... I also disabled vsync in the game itself and let mangohud do that and limited the fps to 60 while I was at it(I forgot why I did that to be honest, but I probably had my reasons...)
I followed the directions here (https://lastremnant.fandom.com/wiki/PC_Tweaking#Decreasing_texture_pop-in) for decreasing texture pop-in. This was not necessary to run the game, but it was just for additional performance enhancement.
This only happened one time, but the game audio all went static, and the frame rate dropped dramatically/started dropping frames. It went away when I went to the title screen.
The game locked up on me twice, once during a text cutscene, another as soon as a battle began. These were somewhat close to each other (same day), but there were no other issues with freezing or the like.
I put all of the graphics settings to as high as I could get them, and I didn't have any slowdown. There still is texture pop-in despite the .ini edit, but playing TLR through Proton feels equal to playing it on Windows.

TDP Power Limit set at 11 Watts
A little hard to read at times but not to bad
Played for 3 hours and didn't have any issues. I set graphics to a mix of Medium and High and turned FPS to 60 limit (also 60hz). Controls well and runs well on the Steam Deck right away, no tinkering needed
gamemoderun %command% DXVK_ASYNC=1
Shadows can behave noticeably wonky at times (shaking and shimmering, a box-like outline around the player character on the overworld), but it is easily ignored.
Plays nearly flawlessly under Garuda Linux with a 12th-gen Intel CPU and 6000 series AMD GPU, whereas the game crashes after a few minutes under Windows 11. I can lower the power limit of the GPU by 100W and still have a framerate range between 75-200+ fps. Minor hitches at first due to shader caching, but only temporary. The game doesn't always detect my Xbox 360 controller when launched, forcing me to unplug and plug back in (could be an issue with my particular setup).
Runs fine OOTB.
Some slight stuttering but otherwise perfectly playable OOTB.
Works Out of the Box
Controller works well.

Crash every 20 min or so, highly unstable. Had a 2 hour period with no crash though... Whitelisted by Valve my a**...
When entering Robelia Castle, huge slowdown (10 Fps max)
Every 20 min or so back to the desktop or the dreaded "Virtual error" thingy
Sometimes the sound don't play, seems like an issue with 5.1 sound
Tried proton 3.7-8 & 4.11-13, same crashfest
The game works perfectly
145 FPS without vectral synchronization. 60 FPS V-Sync ON
See video https://youtu.be/9kEvL-OSvKk
Works very well, but sometimes crashes.
Avoid using Alt+Tab because it breaks the shadow rendering.
Sometimes the game crashes. As other people mentioned before me, it tends to happen more often at the end of the game, normally during a battle. It can be really frustrating, when the game crashes at the moment, when you are about to finish a long and tiring boss battle.

Flawless, no problems whatsoever.

I've played the game for several hours, and it doesn't have any issues: no glitches and no crashes.

Works without any issues. I've tested it with Steam Controller too.

Played it for a long while, but crashes became more frequent when reaching the end-game (virtual function being called...). Aside from that, the game runs fine.

Game launches with a black screen, no audio or video. Tried different Proton launch options and disabling Steam overlays, and also forcing fullscreen.

Regularly (at least every hour) crashes because of "Pure virtual function being called... Error R6025"

Just works out of the box

Runs well with no issues.

DualShock 4 controller is detected and works in big picture. Doesn't do anything in game.

It's having a lot of sttutering

Doesn't start up fully. Black Screen, with sound.

Using controller puts does not prevent screens from going into sleep. Moving mouse turns them back on

No baked-in keyboard & mouse support. Doesn't hook sleep mode & prevent it. Whitelisted. Going off sale on Steam on the 4th of September.

1080p/60fps max settings. Wired Xbox 360 controller recognized and works perfectly.

No major issues. However doesn't enter into fullscreen mode.

nothing

Performance mostly good, usually more than 60 fps, drops to ~30-35 in complex scenes.
