With current versions of regular Proton the game crashes on Day 2. With Proton Experimental bleeding edge branch game works without issues.
To enable the bleeding edge branch of Proton experimental on Steam: Right click Proton Experimental in Steam Library > Click on Betas > Select "bleeding edge".
