Ran very smooth on the game version I played using Proton Experimental. At least as smooth as a game this early in development can. Which isn't that bad really. No tinkering needed at this stage. From all the reviews the amount of bugs I've experienced and the kinds I've experienced are all present on Windows too. It would seem the game being developed should be easy to get running on Linux even without official support. Though, don't count on any review more than a few months old being totally reliable. The game dev is pretty active it seems. 100% recommend keeping an eye on this rough gem.
