Native build works flawlessly

(Damn near) perfect Linux port, no notes
One of those games that doesn't like fractional scaling. Just decide on either 100% or 200% and you should be fine.

works very well
framecap is doubled, setting 30 shows 60 fps, can be my laptop

The game runs as intended without any issues. Proton Experimental

I was able to lower TDP to 5w without any degradation in performance. Battery life is about 4 hours.
No Steam Cloud
On first boot, mouse/trackpad input may been needed to select Gamepad controls.
Game crashes now and then when using latest Proton (8.x).
Switch to "Steam Linux Runtime" in the compatibility tab and the game works perfectly.
Works without issues

Initial menu where you enter your name doesn't work out of the box. Once you switch to Proton Experimental, everything works as expected.
Can't get past name input without a physical keyboard - suspect key remapping might technically be an option, but I would consider this unrealistic requirement for Deck playability.

The on-screen keyboard doesn't work for entering text for the name entry when the game is first launched, so you need to map the keyboard letters you want to use directly to the Deck's buttons (e.g. to enter the name "Will", map the W, I, and L keys to the A, B, and X buttons, and maybe the Shift key to one of the triggers).
Once you're through that part, you can apply the standard Gamepad template and you should be good for the rest of the game.
External keyboard required
On first launch, the game will ask you to type in a profile name. Unfortunately, the virtual keyboard does not work here, you WILL need an external keyboard to type one in. Once you do that, you can disconnect the keyboard and go back to built-in controls. The game runs perfectly.
Works perfectly
Game plays perfectly, no sound or visual glitches apart from first starting the game

On Proton it doesn't work, it will show a crash, but with Wine 4.13 it worked somehow.
