Game launches but can't start a new game or change settings.
No ability to type into text fields when starting a new shop means you can't play.

Controller controls are terrible and there's no touchscreen support to drag and drop elements. I recommend mouse & keyboard
Works fine

No issues.

Worked out of the box
When you save the stickers as files, you have to fish them out of the proton prefix. They're on the "desktop". The game has cloud saves, but every time I reinstalled the game, they didn't appear on first load. I had to close the game and reopen it for the savegames to appear.

Not a problem, runs as if native

Works outta the box
it workoewgtrjnesvdaXA

Didn't work at ALL.
I tried using ProtonGE and older versions of Proton. Still, it didn't work and since I brought it through Humble Bundle I can't refund it which is a bummer but at least this game thought me not to buy games from Humble if you use Linux.

Works perfectly. Runs like a charm, and the UI elements are large enough that using the touch screen feels natural.
Changed controls to use both trackpads as a mouse.

Works like a charm!
The only downside I could imagine you would get from this is that the stickers you export don't actually show up on your Linux desktop, but in the Desktop folder of your Wine prefix. The game does offer a "Show folder" button, which then opens the Wine Filepicker - so I guess you would at least notice.
What I ended up doing was adding a little symlink to [...]/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/2303350/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Desktop/StickyBusinessPrints - that's where you would find it yourself.

Works without tinkering

Runs fine with Proton Experimental, crashes on load with default settings. Plays well using touchscreen or with Mouse controller layout.
The game can be easily played using the Steam Deck touchscreen, or alternatively with the Mouse controller layout but this is a little more fiddly due to drag and drop. The game crashes on load with default compatibility settings, but it loads fine with Proton Experimental.
