set thermal power limit on my steam deck from the performance menu, all graphics set to low. Don't know if it has a performance impact but it defintitely kept the temp down and the battery life longer.

The game runs well on medium settings, 30FPS is perfectly fine for a game like this but uncapped is between 30-55fps. It has built-in controller support which makes it accessible for on-the-go.
The game does use Unreal Engine 4 and as a result, is flexable to adjust using config files and UE4 Unlocker.
