Native Linux version has freezing issues in my experience but switching to the Windows version (forced compatibility) runs without issues

I used expermimental to make it work since Native is giving problems when it used to work fine.
I moved to experimental since the linux native does´t run at all.
I you don't get any sound from native try the next command and see if it works.
sudo touch /usr/bin/pulseaudio
sudo chmod 0755 /usr/bin/pulseaudio
I had a problem with Electronic Super Joy and it now works.,

Starts well
Played with Linux Native version.
Audio works good. Exit game menu item do not work :) so press Alt+F4.
On Deck use proton experimental. First run in desktop mode, to deal with kalypso launcher
Kalypso account window on top and crashing the game if you try to make the first run in game mode
Text is small, but still readable
Extended edition can only be launched windowed, in fullscreen crashes immediately
In native linux version audio doesn't works, use windows through Proton instead
Don't use native Linux on Steam Deck, it won't work, use proton experimental. First run has to be Made in desktop mode. Kalypso launcher will update and launch, won't recognize my ID/PW so gives an error but no problem because after that you can turn to game mode and the Kalypso won't bother you anymore. In the first selection screen you can launch Anna (Old) in fullscreen, but for Anna Extended you have to check windowed or it will crash. No problems after that. Game was not coded with controller in mind so you need to adjust "mouse" sensitivity.
