My last report stated there's save/load problem. But actually this game almost never perform automatic save and never tell existance of manual save (even though i checked game's manual). When you exit from cylinder elevator (usually after beating boss and see cutscene), going to left until you see 2 sign/display which show character "<" and "S". After you enter narrow hallway, head left until you see option to save interactively.
P.S. I forget to switch back to default Proton recommened by Steam, but i expect this game run OOTB since this game supposed to use GameMaker Studio 2.
Unless you're willing to beat this game in one sitting, either use Windows or find a way to fix save/load problem
After i beat a boss and saw following cutscenes, i decided to exit the game to take a break. Afterwards, i opened the game and found out i cannot choose "Load" option on main menu which imply there's no game save file. However, the game never say it couldn't make a game save file either (although manual save doesn't seem to exist). It happens with both Proton 7.0.4 and GE-Proton7-37.
