Developer recommends setting FPS to 40 since the game only runs at 30 FPS, however I'm pretty sure doing this makes the game run at an inconsistent framerate (math 'n' shit) so I don't recommend doing that.

Other than that, the controls on controller are, uh, really god damn bad and also can't be changed, though that's a game issue rather than a proton issue. Either way if you can get over the horsecrap controls, the game performs perfectly on Steam Deck.
