Game works great with default Proton and protontricks

My game had some troubles loading some of the bullets textures, since they were being rendered as plain squares.
Downloading d3dcompiler_47.dll from protontricks fixed everything for me:
protontricks 2015620 -q d3dcompiler_47

Performance:Slight Performance Problems

Depending on he Map you may take a performance hit bellow 30FPS

So the dev needs to figure out the engine GPU Bottleneck bc I remember my old 6800XT being capped at 40FPS also. The game works just fine on Proton, but some maps have development-related perfomance issues that go beyond compatability issues, no guarentee they'll ever be fixed since it's early access.
