Ran without any changes or tinkering. Only played one stage with 8-BitDo M30 Controller via Bluetooth.
Will update once I have had more playtime on the Chromebook.
I could play without setting Proton Experimental but experienced random freezes during gameplay. This no occurred with Proton Experimental.
we use steam remote play together, steam deck as the host. it worked perfectly. impressive.

Some areas produce what could be described as "sparkles," this often coincides with the previously mentioned frame drops.
Moving into new areas produces frame drops.
I've run into a quite a few bugs involving collisions and animations, though I'm doubtful it's because of Linux. I thought I'd mention it anyway, just in case it is.
I've actually done very little tinkering at the time of writing, other than the fact I'm running the Zen kernel and Glorious Eggroll. I've also tried Proton Experimental and it didn't make a difference.
