Launch window is too big to fix in the display. However, you can click and drag the window around.
When in desktop mode, I could not use Steam+X to bring up the virtual keyboard. I don't know why. It works with other apps. I could use Steam+X to bring up the keyboard in Steam mode, however.
This does not run well for me on the Steam Deck. I was surprised given the previous report marking it as gold. I tried launching in desktop mode. The game itself will run, but the Goldbox Companion doesn't ever appear regarldess if the box is checked. Also, the keyboard does not appear in game when I hit Steam+X. That said, I can launch the game in Steam mode and I can use the keyboard with Steam+X... but there's still no Goldbox Companion.
I claimed that the game launches and is playable... because it's true. But the Goldbox Companion is a big selling point of this collection. Without it, it's hard to recommend it.
Run in Desktop Mode with Mouse and Keyboard.
In game settings tinkering: When game selection screen loads, change settings resolution to 720p and graphical settings to disable fullscreen mode.

While I would not play this on Steam Deck mode, it does work for both my Steam Deck in desktop mode and my desktop PC. Tip: When the game selection menu loads, Click the SETTINGS option and change the Graphical settings to a windowed screen at a lower resolution. The Gold Box Companion also works like a charm. This is a GOLD rated game (some minor in-game settings/tinkering).
