Other compatibility thingamabobs and i couldn't get the game to launch. Developer has been informed about the startup issues, it's been tested on ubuntu and SteamOS. Too soon to know if anything is in the works for manjaro, but in either case, as mentioned it runs flawlessly in hotfix for now and as far as tinkering goes it couldn't get easier so no big deal.
