Sometimes the audio "disappears". Nothing that brokes the experience, however. Just need to restart the game and everything works fine.

The game runs very well, and I have only experienced a few problems with audio. But once restarted, everything runs smoothly again.

I can't speak for Linux PCs, but the game is designed with controller as a focus so runs and looks great on the Steam Deck.

I had to enable full screen via the in-game settings before the game would match the screen (Deck) but otherwise no issues.
