Game (not proton or Linux) has some issues displaying some language specific special characters, like umlauts (õ; ä; ö; ü) by default, even if German version is installed. This is introduced by game engine peculiarity and is treatable by converting encoding of "languagetext.txt" file into Unicode (UTF-16). Other vice in-game strings may appear with gaps instead of unrecognized symbols. Same issue with language file encoding sometimes may cause game to crash immediately after start up - until encoding is fixed. This problem weren't present with original English language file and game worked as expected and everything were displayed well.
