On initial setup, an Unreal Engine 4 install prompt came up. After secondary installation, the game ran as normal and skipped this on further bootups

Sometimes the controls won't configure on installation. And they configure to Xbox controls, not native Steam controls
When the controls wouldn't register on a re-installation, I first tried forcing the controls with proton experimentals. That did NOT work. I tried remapping the space bar to A button instead to get through the menu, then booted up, The controls started working again. I reconfigured the A button to default and played on
