By default it sets the game to very high and runs at a solid 60FPS. With those settings its estimating around 2 hours of battery. Once you get later into a game with a lot of students the framerate starts to drop down to 30-40FPS. The same FPS drop can be experienced on a windows PC as well, so likely related to the game and not anything to do with the Steam Deck/Linux.
