After seeing report of this game working again with GE-Proton9-18, I tried it with newest GE-Proton9-20, and it worked for me also.. Yay! It did have error about networking when I first ran it, but I was able to connect my google account, and play everything fine including mulitplayer. After that, subsequent runs no longer has the networking message.
Just needed to update to latest GE proton (GE-Proton9-18) and set that as compatibility tool to run.
Noticed a great deal of screentearing
All I see is the splash screen and then a black screen.
Perhaps Glorious Eggroll will know...
Last game update for Maple Hill has broken game for me on PC (Manjaro) and SteamDeck
I usually get a splash screen, but then it stays black and never makes it to the main menu any more. The game has always worked fine for me until this update on both PC and steamdeck, but no longer. I sent an email to support but did not receive a reply.
worked perfectly for me on my PC (and also steam deck). The only bugaboo is connecting to the google account if one also plays on Android. the steam browser says unsupported when attempting sign-in. the workaround is to sign in on chrome before launching the game, then it works fine.
