Downloads Windows version fine but fails to run under any Proton version. In Linux mode, no files are downloaded.

No files are downloaded when installing normally. Entering compatibility mode with Proton Experimental seems to download the Windows build (as it downloads a .exe executable). When running this, Steam says it's running but no application actually loads.
Switching to Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout) as per the SteamOS & Linux requirements removes all files again.
