Sometimes after accidentally touching the screen the game seemed to "remember" the location of the cursor even after using the controller and some submenus automatically opened later on. Fixed on restart.

TDP Limit set on 6
40hz refresh rate
Resolution might be wrong at the first game start, just change it in the settings
Game doesn't start in the correct resolution on Steam Deck, but it's an easy fix. Go to the options in the main menu and select full screen mode. Runs beautifully out-of-the-box otherwise.
Set up the frame limit and refresh rate to 40. Got almost 6 hours.
Great game, and shines on the Deck. Just run and enjoy.
Changed the display to Full Screen mode in game.
Aside from starting with the wrong resolution, the game works flawlessly on the Steam Deck.
Game can start with the wrong resolution - not showing half the screen. Solution is to go to Options and change to Fullscreen.

Game defaults to windowed and you can't see everything, you have to navigate to options to switch to full screen with a cut off window. Devs are working on this they said in forums.
The game screen default is set to "Large" instead of FullScreen or Windowed. So a part of the screen is cut off.
If you can navigate to the options menu within the game and set it to "Fullscreen" or "Windowed", then you're golden. Developers seem to be aware of this issue so it may get fixed in the near future as this should be an easy adjustment.
Soon as the developers can fix that "Large" resolution setting, this will almost certainly get the "Great on Deck" seal of approval since It has full controller support as well.
Until then using Valve's rating criteria, I give this the "Playable" verdict for now.
Game started in a window too large for the screen. Menu was still mostly on screen. Once toggled from "Large" to "Fullscreen", there were no longer any issues.
Short playtime thus far. Certainly not extensive enough to say that it's perfect yet.
