The beta helpfully warns you that multiple saves are bugged right now.

When loading onto the planet, my character was always stuck though the game continued running at like 10-25 FPS.

I had a weird crash that took out the Steam client and unlinked my game library! It was easy to relaunch and relink thankfully.

The game is completely unplayable as soon as you load onto the planet. The character is apparently stuck in a cryopod but there's no geometry, just generic textures filling the screen.
