Tinker Steps:Other

from the game launcher, when you press "Play" , hold down ctrl key and remove the flag from "Enable Videos" under the general tab. The game will then launch normally but it will just skip the intro video. Otherwise it will crash to the desktop.

Customizations:Something Else

Edit the options file (SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1367320/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/CloseCombatCrossofIron/OPTIONS.TXT) to set PlayVideos=FALSE, or the game will crash on launch. After this fix, the game works fine (but videos will not play).
