EAC still not setup for linux
EAC still isn't enabled for linux and bandai seems to have zero intention of doing so (and probably anything else for the pc port)

Game hangs on blackscreen on opening
Can install the game & EAC but the game hangs on boot

Seems no changes made since last report
Easy Anticheat loads without issue. When the game itself launches, it remains on a black screen.
EAC pops up, loads, and the game boots to a black screen. Seems like they haven't enabled Linux support for EAC yet, even after the game's full release.
Game freezes at black fullscreen after fully loading EAC.
This may not necessarily be an issue with EAC in and of itself--Given that there's no specific EAC error thrown either in a dialog (like Gundam Evolution used to) or in the console, the fact that the entire game refuses to start is a point of serious concern.
Further investigation is needed.
Developers have clearly not enabled EAC support.
Despite it having been 9 months since the prior network test the developers seem to have chosen to not enable EAC support. I have reached out to the developers on Steam forums, on Twitter as well as via their official support page both prior to and since the launch of the network test to ask about support and they have chosen to not respond to me within a timely manner.
Considering the state of many other Gundam games is also "borked" for the same exact reason, despite being different developers, I would argue that if they can't be bothered to enable it within 9 months for their second network test that they're simply refusing to do so with this lack of response and therefore it should be given up on. Sucks for those who wanted to play this game but either run only Linux or Steam Deck.
I have also tried to run this with the standard Steam recommended version of Proton as well as forced Proton Experimental with similar success.

Don't bother until the devs decide to do the minimum effort of enabling linux support for EAC
Changing proton version, using D3D11 and -noeac in the launch options, nothing works. Game tries to launch, main window opens, steam HUD comes up and a few seconds later it dies.
Probably another title borked by EAC.

Can't launch due to EAC
Game automatically closes at startup due to EAC not being properly set up by the developer.

easy anticheat strikes again!
everything installs just fine. eas screen appears. crash. sadness

EAC Implemented poorly
Game will download, install, begin to boot, get into easy anti-cheat's boot screen and then promptly close. Game lacks EAC linux implementation and at this point it is unknown how to reach out to the developers to begin remedying this.
Currently not playable. The game is in network testing, so if ever there was a time to reach out, now is the time

EAC tries to load, game fails to launch
%command% -noeac
Even with the -noeac launch option, EAC tries to load and the game fails to launch.
