By default the game launched but none of the movies would play. Had to select "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and select Proton 8.0-3 to get the movies working, and after that I had no problems.
Works great out of the box
Game is video-based, runs successfully with mf-install.
FMVs are broken
Menus and audio work fine, but all videos are not playable so it's not possible to progress. I can open the videos fine from outside the game. Tried on Proton 6.3-7 and Experimental.
Can't proceed past main menu with GE
With 5.0.9 it doesn't even get to the main menu, you get a black screen with the game's cursor. With 5.9-GE-5-ST it plays the intro video and you get to the main menu. The options menu works fine, but when you start a game you just get a black screen.
Not working beyond main menu
Tried stock Proton 5.0/4.11 (black screen with cursor), with mf-install (crash) as well as Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF with new prefix. Only with GE it played the initial logos and video with actor asking you not to publish video playthroughs. After starting the game from the main menu I only got a black screen however.
