"Failed to initialize player" popup
The launcher loads. However, clicking through to play the game fails immediately with "Failed to initialize player". Note that the launcher is not the initial menu for the game.
runs perfectly out of the box
Runs out from the box with no tinkering. Flawless experience.
It's sad no linux native version as I usually play stallerais with paradox launcher for linux. Now I have to use two.
This report is based on the limited demo available during Steam Next Fest. Final performance may vary.
I experienced some oddities that felt like stutters at first but I recognized they were due to the default settings of the tooltip ingame. I suggest adjusting tooltip delays and similar settings to lower values to improve UI smoothness (YMMV).
Did play for about an hour without any issues. Since it was only the Demo version (February 2024) there was nothing more to do.

Game text is small and might be hard to read; same for icons. Fully compatible using Proton experimental, no other changes. Game works great
Have not tested thoroughly but i figure because it has no reviews I might as well post that it looks fine. Maybe a bit laggy but i dont know if thats my PC or the game (or the fact I am running osrs in the background). Also this is the DEMO version from steamfest
