Jogo rodando excelente. Estou usando o Proton Experimental, mas deve rodar sem problemas com a versão padrão da Steam.

By default the game runs overall at a smooth 60 fps with a few sudden drops to lower 50s. After a few races, I limited the refresh rate on the deck to 50 to improve the stability. I couldn't personally tell the difference of running the game at 50 fps instead of 60, however the game felt much smoother. Reading the other reviews listed here, I decided to increase the graphics to medium-high instead of the default low-medium. The game performed the same, but it looked a bit better. The final settings are:
- Screen Resolution: 1280x800
- Refresh Rate: 60Hz
- Vertical Sync: On
- Window Mode: Off
- Texture Quality: High
- Motion Blur: On
- Shadow Quality: Medium
- Ambient Occlusion: SSAO
- Effects Detail: Medium
- Geometry Detail: Medium
- Anti-Aliasing: TAA
Even though the game performed very good on the deck, the mission "Business or Pleasure" crashed the game every time on checkpoint 18-19 (the issue is known on the PC version) and the only way I could solve it was to reduce the graphics settings to the lowest possible values (including the resolution). The game looked horrible, but at least I was able to complete the mission. There was also another race from Robyn that took place in the same area and that too crashed the game in the same spot. I was able to complete that too with the graphics set to low. After these 2 missions, I reverted the settings back to medium-high and everything was back to normal.
I also performed a few other steps that may or may not impacted the stability overall, but I personally couldn't tell the difference:
I set the GPU clock to 1000 (for the last races from the story, I changed it to 1300, but it performed the same).
I set the following launch options:
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 gamemoderun %command% -vulkan
Aside from this inconvenience, I highly recommend playing this game on the deck. As a fyi, you won't be able to squeeze more than 1.5-2h on battery.
Performance is great. Very stable 60 FPS (limited) with no issues. Text is on the smaller side but I had no issues.
All low settings except for Ambient Occlusion set to SSAO and Anti Aliasing set to TAA. TDP set to 12W. FPS Limit at 60

The game runs quite well with medium settings(and high texture) in the native resolution of the deck, but there are significant problems with frame drops. I solved this problem by limiting the GPU frequency to 1000-1300 MHz, in the city areas it is best to limit the GPU frequency in these limits to reduce the number of starters and drops, as a result, I got a solid 60 fps with rare drops to low 50. The game is very demanding on the CPU, the best way is to limit the GPU consumption. I play mainly in the dock at 15 watts and +- stable 60 FPS or in a portable at 8 watts and 45 Hz-fps limitation(V-cync on) with an ideal frame time. It is highly recommended to use the start command to improve stability.

Had to install the windows version of steam via lutris, and then install the game from there.
Had to come with a work around to get the game working, probably too much hassle for most. Steam native couldnt install the script for the ea app with any version of proton or proton Ge, or any custom parameters that I know of, So I tested with wine 9.22 and discover it installed fine, but the game needs to run through steam. So I had to come with a work around, installing steam windows version, through lutris with wine 9.22 , and after launching that version of steam, installing the game normally. Everything worked without anymore fixes after that.

Sometimes it don't want to connect you to the server but when you try again it works.
Run with no issue. I even applyed UNITE mod
Sometimes the EA app does not seem to work, verifying file integrity and switching proton versions back and forward eventually allows the game to start. But eventually it breaks itself again.
I'm honestly not sure why this game is so cursed, even windows users have trouble getting controller support to work.
For Linux, just keep trying to start the game and eventually it should work, it may take about 5 attempts until it starts. Some newer versions of Proton also get an error "This game has not yet released", try other proton versions, for me ProtonGE 8 and Proton 7 worked.

Managed to install the game but when I install EA app it's just a blank screen.

After installing the game from steam I tried to run it on Proton Exerimental. But when I install EA app it's just a blank screen. However even after that I still managed to login to the app but after that, when I run the app, I ended up with error code EC: 10701 and the game just does not launch at all after that

Speaking of Cotroller support I had no problems here, On Windows I had common bug that could not be fixed, 10/10
Gamemode and Vulkan gave me the max framerate, Especially Vulcan.
Also one more thing, If you have HDD don't install the game because the map is not properly loaded, you'll end up by falling through map, SSD Recommended

There's one particular are in the game that made me crash a few times. doesn't happen all the time though and it seems to happen mostly when playing in a public lobby.
Had a few hicups here and there when shaders were compiling, after a while it stops happening. There's a few places in-game that causes small freezes, following another report here this was solved by turning on V-Sync and adding the launch options. Only real problem for me is that one section of a specific road in the game that sometimes make my game freeze then crash, but in 20+ hours only had 4 crashes total.

I couldn't change the controller to a keyboard bc the game thinks I'm using a gamepad and it's unclear which keys match "previous" and "next" in order to manually select keyboard.

For launch options enter only %command% and nothing else. The game will run fine with steady 60 FPS at the highest graphical settings. The game thought I was using a gamepad and I couldn't change the controller type manually bc it was unclear which keyboard keys match the gamepad keys for "previous" and "next". I drove around a little using the WASD keys (bc when gamepad is selected, these keys somehow correspond to car controls) and didn't see any graphical problems. EA Origin ran just fine with the above user settings. If Valve can do something about the game to correctly detect a keyboard instead of a gamepad, this game can be classified as "perfect to run & play".

I had problems last time launching Origin using Vulkan and had to use the launch option PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1. Doing this would allow the game to start but was very slow and stuttery. After opting out of the Steam beta program, I was able to use Vulkan instead of Wine's D3D and the game ran perfectly after using PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1
Average FPS was 20. Stuttered frequently when driving in certain areas.
A lot of tinkering was necessary to get this running. If using Arch and an Nvidia card, make sure lib32-amdvlk is not installed. To get the Origin launcher to install, set your launch options to
PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Then to start the game, change your launch options to
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Without that, Origin won't even launch.
Worked flawlessly straight from the steam store, connected to online. I didn't test multiplayer tho

Using bspwm you have to switch to another screen and return back.
I didn't like this so i configured origin to run on different screen

Couldn't get Steam Controller to work at all. (To be fair, I got it to work once but after a reconnect it doesn't work anymore. I tried relaunching the game, steam launcher and nothing)
Slow at times, maybe texture caching takes that long
Worked out of the box, good graphics and audio, decent FPS.. Perfect!
i waited for a few seconds for steam overlay to install Origin client before able to start playing and it works! usually Origin client installation always caused some issues and gives problems
Proton 5.0.10, with higher version game was not working
Game minimises when showing a origin notification which causes problems in a tiling window manager without that functionality
Steam Controller was not properly detected after last update (i.e. only some buttons worked), it worked flawlessly before.
Runs good OOTB with minor issues.
Origin notifications minimize the game.
It takes a while for the game to detect the controller(PS5), randomly pressing buttons seems to help. Also sometimes controller detection works out-of the box and other times it does not not work at all until a restart.
