Works fine out of the box
Runs perfectly with Proton Experimental

Didn't mess with anything as I did not see a need to. Ran well to my eyes, controlled just fine, didn't run into any bugs or issues. Even battery life was pretty solid from what I noticed (sorry, didn't take notes on that but with Steam Deck OLED, still saw over 60% after at least an hour or two).

Game doesn't start. Directx 12 error.
An error (that doesn't happens when playing the game on the same machine on Windows SO) pops up: "Intel(R) HD graphics 620 (KBL GT2) D3D12_TILED_RESOURCES_TIER: NOT SUPPORTED < TIER_1"
No issues, works out of the box

Screen tearing on menus that starts out as a minor issue but quickly snowballs into filling the entire screen.
If you experience the same issues I experienced, set your drivers to NVIDIA driver 525. Otherwise no additional tinkering is needed.

Works out of the box with Proton, plays just as good as Windows.

Works out of the box,
Mouse cursor disappears every now and then. Tabbing out and back solves it.
Mouse cursor sometimes dissappear but tabbing out and back to game fixes it.

All animal models have broken geometry.
Update to OS 3.5.5 (current 3.5.7) broke the models.
When using mouse and keyboard, cursor occasionally dissapears, everything is fine on controller

Cursor disappeared sometimes, hitting middle mouse seemed to make it show up again pretty consistently. Not sure if this was a Linux thing or just a game bug, since it seemed to be tied to times where the game made the cursor disappear (and then just not restoring it appropriately).
Pretty rock solid! Very smooth 60 FPS at 1080p

Plays extremely smoothly, Save and load no problem. Just like a native game
Plays well.

env __GL_b5f2b3=0xFFFFFFFF=1 %command%
As suggested here : https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/graphical-regression-in-elite-dangerous/247010/7 use the launch options, else, the game will be unplayable with a nvidia GPU because of many heavy artifacts

Triangles/shapes and wierd artifacts expanding from ui or menus.
At first it looked like it was only on the settings-screen. But continued and got worse once in-game. The final straw filled my entire screen. Did not try saving etc that other had issues with.

So, the game is unpayable because we see nothing, thanks artefacts
There is some edge and triangle wich link point form the HUD
The game would crash when I would try to load a save game.
Game would crash when trying to resume a saved game
Game Auto detected that I should be running high, but I only got good performance on Very Low
30FPS 60Hz 9W TDP
Game runs great OOTB but a little bit of tinkering can help with perfomance and battery life. High graphics preset.
Works perfectly fine
Läuft perfekt mit hohen Grafikeinstellungen
Läuft perfekt mit hohen Grafikeinstellungen
Perfectly playable again now that the hatchery-bug has been solved

Impossibler d'assigner un scientifique dans la couveuse depuis la mise à jour Malta (8 décembre).
Jeu inutilisable.
Changed to 40Hz refresh rate
Great sim game to play on the go! Doesn't need high frames so set it to 40Hz to save some battery.

It works out of the box and performs better than in windows, I can use very high settings.
Capture mode , a feature that allows you to photograph wont save results, or atleast I can't find it where needs to be, steamapps/appcompat/*/Pictures. Work around is to just use Steam Screenshot.
It just works OOTB and the standard controls are good too. No tinkering needed for 28-30fps on 1x speed
Changed the back buttons and right trackpad as I'm used to having back buttons on my controllers.
When the game is loading something big, or saving while I was trying to open the steam menu it froze a few times.
Runs flawlessly out of the box at highest graphics settings.
Flawless, was able to run with laptop hardware on an ultrawide 34" at max resolution, best is medium settings, high is also acceptable.
Tried various versons of Proton
Game always crashes when launching the sandbox mode
It runs just as good as it runs on my windows setup. Maybe even better.
Select the latest version of Proton and download it. It's as simple as that.

game works great in the early stages, but starts crashing consistently to block progress at the midgame level of working through game modes
Campaign mode, and the first Chaos Theory mode both work perfectly.
Challenge mode and all other Chaos Theory modes cause the game to crash while loading.
This is an update. I had to set the Proton version to 6.3-8 as it would crash on experimental. The game runs just under 60 FPS. The same PC with Windows seems to struggle lately under 40 FPS.
The low fps was not enough to affect the game and the crashes are not too often.
The runs around 40 fps. It runs at 70 fps on the same machine on Windows.
The game crashes occasionally when starting a save.
On the previous try I forgot to set the resolution to match my monitor and it crashed.I set it this time before starting a game and it worked without issue.
