Found no issues at all. :-]
Can't be play with proprietary NVIDIA drivers, as graphics is ultra-slow with that.

Crashes at Launch with message 'Fatal Error'
Can't find any logs to speak of (or open files with lsof). Tried with default Proton, Glorious Eggroll (though not sure whether I did that right because have no wine installation except for through Steam) and default + WMF (pointed at default Proton for Wine install). Should be taken with a grain of salt because I know nothing about Wine or Proton.

Complete and utter silence.
The game - while perfectly playable - runs at a rather slow but steady framerate. Entering the region map freezes on a white screen for several seconds.

Solid 30fps on epic settings. I imagine that will improve in the future, but is entirely playable as is.
Unable to start even with the tweaks discussed in other reports
Ran mf-install as discussed in other reports here, and it didn't get past the initial dark screen.
I also tried deleting the splash screen videos in the game directory, and that didn't help. Following along the discussions in the game's Steam forum, the problem seems to be due to the game trying to play the video, but not being able to.
I used the Steam game-specific proton folder as the WINEPREFIX and ran mf-install as normal.
