Had to use Proton 7.0 but works as expected otherwise.

Overall (online):Acceptable

General lag when interacting with other players. The same happens with my friends playing in Windows, so it's just buggy netcode, not exclusive to Linux/Proton.

When using Proton 8.0, it crashes on startup with a "Fatal error." No additional information is given in the error message. Using Proton 7.0, it works fine and can be enjoyed with all its wackiness.

It works out of the box, with some stability issues that may just be part of the base game, irrespective of platform
