Does not run with Proton 4 or 5
I tried gamemoderun %command%, proton 5, 4.11 and 4.2. I can see BattyleEye launcher but it crashes and could not close game from steam.
Works almost flawlessly as far as I can tell. Small bug: the process does not close and needs to be closed manually
Ran fine out of the box. Any multiplayer issues were not the fault of proton but of the game itself (had them even on windows)
Minor graphical bug - Icon for backspace missing from menus.
About 10 FPS in the menu or in game, not sure why.
Could freeze on first launch?
Some spam in logs at the launch of the game:
wine: Read access denied for device L"\\??\\Z:\\", FS volume label and serial are not available.
Bugg's voicelines are missing
Not amazingly optimized but I can still get 100+fps
I used Proton-5.8-GE-2-MF GloriousEggroll Make sure to turn on NTP sync if you cant connect to the servers

Proton-5.8-GE-2-MF GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.8-GE-2-MF
The game starts with the smallest of the resolutions.
I tried first with steam proton. It will not work and you will need to kill the process because it will not close.
Runs out of the box
No tinkering, managed to just launch the game, do the tutorial and play online without issues.

:'(
No dice for me. Can't get it to launch. Not sure how everyone else is having success getting it to work with no issues :'(
Worked out of the box
As long as EAC keeps magically working this feels native. No issues at all in 4 hours.

I touch any key on keyboard, the game closes itself. No crash, no errors, just game gone.
Wootility One, in digital mode (normal keyboard mode).
After my first report, i played for like 4hours and the game worked like a charm. No problem with EAC so far, i hope it stays that way...
Worked out of the box. Even the multiplayer part. I don't know how this is possible as the game is installed with EasyAntiCheat.
Set specific Proton version 5.0-7 and everything worked without issue.
Works just fine with Proton 5.0.7 out of the box.
my settings: RADV_PERFTEST=aco mesa_glthread=true gamemoderun %command%
[Test Video] (https://youtu.be/8t5nPxyUlOI)
I suspect the game has servers in EU and US only, so I had a high ping, but even then it was playable and enjoyable.
Game would run at about 70 FPS but it looked like it was running 30 FPS or less.
Aside from the latency issues, the performance issues indicate a probable bad optimization from the game developers. I have a 144Hz monitor and the game wasn't running at 144Hz. An average of 70 FPS felt like I was playing the game on an old computer at about 30 FPS.
Game ran flawlessly using Steam Play. controller also worked perfectly. Played two matches online.

Played the tutorial and one match and found no issues. Game works 100% from what I can see.
5.8-GE-2-MF GloriousEggroll

Works great considering that this game is completely new. around 60+ FPS on low graphics. Online gaming works without a problem
5.8-GE-2-MF GloriousEggroll
i used the latest version from GloriousEggroll. https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases
Sometimes the game slows down for a few seconds mid game
No problems with the Anti Cheat system, online gaming works perfect for me
The game in general is a bit buggy but seems to work great, even with easy atni cheat!
I was skeptic about easy anti cheat being used but the game runs no problems. I was able to play about 5 multiplayer matches without any issues.
Works fine on my machine, with max settings i hit about 50-60 FPS without VSync.
First time startup was strange, game opens and closed. I needed to kill stream and any processes related to Crucible. After a relaunch of steam it worked fine.
Proton-5.8-GE-2-MF
sometimes in multiplayer game had some lags
Been able to play 1hour even with EAC Works out-of-the-box
The game runs, but the animations are slow, and there is stuttering.

Proton-5.8-GE-2-MF GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.8-GE-2-MF
Game works fine with multiplayer even though it uses EAC.
Some stuttering early on, but performance is pretty good
Installs Easy Anti Cheat and 4 other pre-reqs. Steam lists game as "Running" nothing displays.

After selecting proton 5.0-7 I was able to install, but not run.
I didn't have much hope for this one, especially with the anti-cheat tools. But hey, it was free so I gave it a shot. Installed fine, and it would indicate that it was running, but nothing would pop up. I've heard that the anti-cheat is notorious for hating proton in Linux, so I wasn't too hopeful with this one. I've already uninstalled it and removed it from my playing list.
No idea if online play works yet or not. If it fails because of EAC, I will update the summary.
The game will not start occasionally, requiring you to kill the processes from the command line.
Couldn't play online but the game is not stable on Windows yet either. Online play was not tested and may not work due to EAC.
