Local Multiplayer worked great with 3 xbox controllers
Works great on the Steamdeck, local multiplayer works great with wireless controllers. No performance issues or control problems. Made a few changes to improve battery life. Should be Verified soon I would guess, it plays like it.
Runs solo play at 5w during most play without issue. 10w with no slowdowns save for the most extreme physics calcs.
A single, one-off CTD without error report. Could not reproduce.
Remote play via a second Deck in the same room came with the usual video compression for off-host in chatoic scenes, and occasional video output freezing for off-host, but input and sound behaved as normal even when these happened. Most times video issues would self-correct, occasionally requiring a re-connect to fix. Adjusting TDP of host Deck causes noticable video latency issues on off-host, even if host runs seamlessly. Recommend leaving at 15w if hosting remote play.
Feels like it's made for the deck, largely because it's also targeting the Switch. Text is chunky and easy to read, native controller support, and feels great as a handheld title.
